Methodology:

• Determine pressure drop over the superheater element of a boiler.
• Investigate possibility of Two-phase flow expected in certain sections of the superheater.

Solution:

• Two-phase flow  was found in the section between the drum and inlet to the first heating element.
• The temperature and pressure at the outlet header exit  were within 0.04% of required results.
