Where is Flownex used?
Flownex is a system and sub-system simulation tool used to design and integrate thermal hydraulic systems.
Flownex enables engineers to predict, design and optimise for; flow rates, pressures, temperatures, and heat transfer rates in any fluid system.
Flownex can design and optimize closed and open loop flow and heat transfer systems with any amount of branching flows (diverging and converging) and inlets and outlets. Such systems include anything from ventilation systems, water and gas distribution systems up to boiler designs and complete power generation cycles.

Flownex 7.020 has been released recently and boasts both new and powerful features and capabilities:• Basic heat transfer elements are now available to users of Flownex Premium versions.
• Equation element outputs are now available for Sensitivity Analysis.
• Print output file now lists offset and scale.
• Results layer is enhanced with the addition of Reverse Flow Indication.
• Component Categories are Renamed and components regrouped to increase user functionality and enhance user friendliness.
The following enhancements were made during the development of Flownex 7.020:
• The gas mixture density calculation equation in the user manual was corrected.
• The user specified and special elements have been renamed to User specified pressure ratio element and User specified pressure drop element respectively.
• ANSI control valve renamed to ANSI Valve.
• Evaporator description improved in user manual.
• Level Tracking and Accumulator inputs were removed from the Junction input page.
• Resistive Duct input option headings changed.
